We came up with a simple idea to attach insect screens to the backs of our plantation shutters. The screens allow fresh air circulation into the room while keeping unwanted insects out. With this combination, clients gain four functions with one layer of window treatment: natural light
penetration; free-flowing air circulation, precise privacy levels controlled by adjusting the shutter blades, and; keeping unwanted insects out.
