Fine Wood Shutters started out manufacturing interior plantation shutters. Gradually we expanded to include exterior plantation shutters.
After all, wooden shutters were first made for external use hundreds of years ago. In those days, there was no such thing as glass-enclosed
rooms with air conditioning. As such, open plan living spaces, verandas and high ceilings were major design features of tropical homes.
Such rooms were usually enclosed with exterior shutters, occupants could enjoy the sunshine and a breeze in a cool environment.
